I totally agree.  The issue here is that RTM and products like it are list based. Lists do not visualize the flow of work or the shape of work. They do not allow for limiting WIP.

So inclusion of something like RTM would be a task-list that was pre-WIP limited.  Perhaps someone could plan their day in a Personal Kanban and then, when that became WIP (or maybe the TODAY column) that info could be pushed to RTM - which someone could carry around with them on the phone and, as things are completed, they could check things as done and make them ready to pull on the kanban.

How does that sound?
